The 1600 acres we rented in 2004 we ended up custom farming in 2005. Custom farming is a paid service for different farm operations. We provided that service for the owner.
One part of that farm is very hilly. The picture shows the tractor on the top of the biggest hill.

Seeding was followed by good rainfall it started to look like a 2004 repeat but actually got a normal summer.
In June we did all of our herbicides.

In June, we presented our grain burning stoves at the farm progress show in Regina. We started selling stoves in the spring. The stoves are manufacture by American Energy Systems. I actually became the Canadian Rep. We had a very busy year. Grain prices have been historically low and energy prices historically high creating a good market for alternative energy appliances.

The growing conditions were very good with only a dry hot dry spell in July. Overall the crop looked very good
