The biggest rain shower was 8 tenths of an inch at the end of June.
With the dry spell we had plenty of grasshoppers. We did spray some of the worst fields.

Harvest came early in mid-August. We still had to get our combine home and do the regular check-up before harvest. I also had planed to install a PF3000 Ag Leader yield monitor

The first step to harvesting was swathing canola. It helps the plants and seeds dry down evenly.

We started harvesting peas on August 20. The yields were very surprising at 39 bpa. My brother Guillaume came to help with harvest.

We then went into barley and durum. The weather was staying dry helping make good time but moreover giving us an very good quality.
The crop is stored mainly on farm. The hauling is done with the tandem truck. The driver has to be fast enough to make it back to the combine before it is full again.
